Every so often I post comic strips to the blog. Some are just funny and meant to lift spirits.

But sometimes, cartoonists can use their medium with immense force and effectiveness to make a strong and clear point. Few do that better than Gary Trudeau in his Doonesbury strip and Stephan Pastis in Pearls Before Swine.

Today’s Pearls strip is both a reminder and a call to action.
